Produce Update July 11, 2021 (First Day with Cucumbers 7/12)

We will be opening our roadside stand in Arkansaw tomorrow, Monday, July 12th with cucumbers, popcorn (yellow, white, red/white/blue), and maple syrup from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. or until sold out.

Below are pictures of how our produce is currently looking and when we think it will be ready for you to enjoy:

Sweet Corn

The sweet corn is tasseling and cobs have formed with brown silk on top. Over the next week or so the cobs will continue to grow and the kernels will color up. We expect the sweet corn to be ready the week of July 19-23. We will update as we get closer to opening day.

Cucumbers

The pickling and slicing variety of cucumbers are ready and we will be open for them Monday, July 12 from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. or sold out. Since the cucumbers are just starting we do not expect to have cucumbers the full hours.
