The strawberries are starting to blossom and there are a few small green berries in our earliest variety! 🍓

We anticipate the strawberry and pea season beginning around the middle of June. We will post updates as we get closer to the season.

We did experience some winter injury in parts of the patch this past winter, and a few of the earliest blossoms were also damaged by hard freezes this spring. One of the challenges with a cooler spring is that the berry field is typically 10–15 degrees cooler than the overhead air temperature, meaning we are constantly monitoring conditions and watering the berries to help protect the blossoms from frost damage.

Overall, the crop is looking good, and we are excited for the upcoming season! We hope to see you all in a few weeks!
